DBMT is the new recommendation since like 10 years.
You can see from the versions references, that this is an old document.
There is also one dangerous combination.
Compact -c -i is a last resort operation which can cause data loss if running on a corrupted database.
Such a guide in year 2025 without DBMT is quite incomplete in my point of view
