  1. Yes I agree with Christian, this guide is old and needs to be updated.
    DBMT is the new recommendation since like 10 years.
    You can see from the versions references, that this is an old document.

    There is also one dangerous combination.
    Compact -c -i is a last resort operation which can cause data loss if running on a corrupted database.
