HCL Traveler uses APNs (Apple Push Notification service) messages to support auto sync mode for the HCL To Dos and Verse apps for iOS.
Starting with HCL Traveler 12.0.0.0, the Traveler server regularly verifies the dates of the installed APNs certificates. By default, the Traveler status will be set to yellow if a certificate is within 60 days of expiring and red if within 7 days of expiring.
The APNs certificates expire approximately 12 months after being generated and not from the date of installation. The lifecycle of these certificates is determined by Apple. Failure to upgrade the certificates prior to expiration will result in the loss of auto-sync capability for the HCL iOS applications.
The latest certificates expire Febraury 28, 2024.
